While trying to order Cisco 1552 Outdoor AP's, there are 2 options for SW-
SWAP1500-BTIMGE-K9 is the unified code software.
S155W7K9-15202JB is the autonomous code software.
Note- the autonomous code does not support mesh architecture.

Hi. Mesh is the same as bridge mode? You mean no WiFi backhaul at all in autonomous mode?

Bridging is something when we connect our AP’s to Wired and try to send traffic wirelessly through Radio . Even we can do that with Mesh AP’s. In other words Mesh AP can be used for Bridging where one AP connected to wired LAN and send traffic wirelessly to another location through one of the radios (preferably 5 GHz).

Cisco 1550 AP’s does not support autonomous mode and require a WLC to work. At this point 1550 AP’s can either work in Mesh/Monitor mode (for site survey purposes).
